Picking Apples and Pumpkins

This book would be a good one to read in the fall when pumpkins and apples are being harvested. Harvest is really the only connection between the two. The very traditional text and images depict a conventional family taking a trip to a farm with their grandmother to harvest their own apples and pumpkins. A warning is needed to address the hazards of climbing into trees and reaching to pick fruit.
