Welcome to our At Home Learning Page! We will do our best to offer weekly ideas for at home learning about agriculture!

These activities will all be free to access and share. Our weekly activities do not build on each other, but are individual and can be done in any order.

April showers bring May flowers! Spring has sprung. When we think of Spring we often think of flowers and this week we’re diving into at home activities all about flowers!

Read Plants in Spring by Martha Rustad. If you or the library don 't have a copy, watch this read-aloud version.

There are a lot of careers related to flowers. Older readers can read The Artistic Arrangement, a free chapter book from Feeding Minds Press, to learn about florists and ag teachers!

This activity from Virginia Ag in the Classroom, Peek-A-Boo Flower Pot, allows students to visualize how their plants will look while watching real seeds sprout and grow!

Pollination is important for flowers to grow! Play My American Farm 's The Buzz to learn all about pollinators.

Make a flower pen and learn about the parts of a plant with this fun activity from My American Farm 's Food Science Fun series! Note: this activity can be found on page 12.
