Hooray for Dairy Farming!

This book provides a nice overview of dairy cows and dairy farms. It depicts four of the five major breeds without specifying their names. While some of the images are no longer modern for the most part this book does a nice job of depicting dairy accurately. They use a very nice selection of photographs to enhance the text. The text provides information about pasteurization, various barn structures, milking, cheese making, hoof trimming and calving. The book concludes with a short glossary and recipe for making banana milkshakes.
