Clarabelle

This most recent book by Cris Peterson is, as always, an accurate depiction of agriculture. Clarabelle represents the average dairy cow in a modern dairy operation. The images depict a free stall cattle operation, a modern milking parlor, bulk tanks holding milk and the total feeding operation. Separate images identify the various components of her complete dairy ration. This book would be a great addition to help dispel the myth of the horrors of the "factory farm" by the accurate portrayal of a clean modern dairy operation. A new addition to the author's series, this book contains a glossary.
