From Tree to Table
By Jill Braithwaite
This is one in an excellent series of books depicting the various plant and animal source of food and fibers that come from plants and animals. As an early reader book, the content is minimal but fairly accurate. Each page has one to five sentences. The best feature of the book is that it begins with replanting a forest. This fosters the concept of trees as a renewable resource. This book is weaker than the previous text and depicts much more old fashioned processes and equipment. The book ends with a glossary.
