White-Reinhardt Teacher Scholarships
The National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference Educator Scholarship program is to provide travel expense funds to educators employed by a school system to attend the national conference and then use the information gained to expand their outreach to students regarding food, fiber and fuel. Educators employed by a school system and working in grades K-12 who have demonstrated involvement in agricultural literacy programs are eligible to apply.
2010 Teachers Scholarships Recipients
Ten teachers have been recognized by the American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture for their outstanding efforts to promote agricultural literacy. The teachers each received $1500 scholarships to attend the National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference in Baltimore, Md., in June. The Foundation, through the White-Reinhardt Fund for Education, sponsored the scholarships in cooperation with the AFB Women’s Leadership Committee.

2009 Teachers Scholarships Recipients
Five exceptional teachers have been designated to receive scholarships to attend the National Ag in the Classroom Conference. The White-Reinhardt scholarships provide up to $1,200 to support attendance at the National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference this June. Winners of the 2009 White-Reinhardt Scholarships are:
